When you come to Safety Harbor, FL - I would love to Live Paint for your performance. It is literally me translating the music, the vibe, the people, the night into colors. Think about it! I'm a local artist who does most of the St Pete shows, but live so close to Safety Harbor its like my backyard.Rising Appalachia responded on 02/28/2017 Next question
I'm the new president of Hancock Shaker Village, an authentic 750-acre former Shaker village that is now a museum, with 20 historic buildings = some dating to 1791 - including a round barn that is drop dead gorgeous - perfect for music unplugged.
I was one of the founders of MASS MoCA and want to create at Hancock Shaker Village an enlightened interesting program that maintains the values of the Shakers - land renewal, sustainable practices, gender equality, environmentalism, progressive technological innovation - and enhances the experience of being in this extraordinary place. There are, for ex, organic gardens here, and I've just hired a farm to table chef for our cafe, so that when you eat here you are eating food that was grown about 50 yards away.
I love your music, and would love to bring you to the Village this summer, and I also am very interested in your Slow Music movement. Is there someone at Rising Appalachia I might talk to?
